Dr Zainab Kabba has a background in technology and education, and has leveraged this knowledge in schools, higher education institutions, non-profit organisations and informal learning environments in various regional contexts. Her doctoral research explored the education of young American Muslims, focusing on knowledge and authority in intensive Islamic learning environments. Currently, she is the Executive Director of Cambridge Muslim College, Cambridge, UK.

This session will explore how the intersection of gender with questions of race, class, and rising anti-Muslim sentiment shape discussions on each side of the Atlantic.
