Luxury & Feminism: How Islam inspired me to deliver good
Yasmin wants to redefine luxury and feminism. This is her story of why she created a new British luxury brand designed to deliver good. It was Islam and its feminist message which taught her how to become empowered. The journey was not an easy one as she tried to change, not just the fortunes of disadvantaged people and artisans in the UK, but also abroad. Yasmin believes her heritage nation of Bangladesh and its dying artisan skills are critical in boosting the economies of those in the developed world.
