Muslims in the West: Challenges of Pluralism
In 2012, Mohamed Merah shot and killed French children in front of their school, a Jewish school. Since then, Samia has questioned herself and engaged in the public sphere and in many interfaith fora to try to find ways of coexistence. This talk is the result of years of engagement in Muslim-Jewish dialogue in France and in Europe. The question she wants to raise is the one that has been following her for a decade: how do we create a sense of belonging for all, including Muslims?
