Having memorised the Qur’ān, it inspired Idris to further study classical Islamic texts in a traditional setting, within the UK. But he felt the need to explore the texts further, with a critical mind as opposed to a cultural mind. This led to him completing a BA in Islamic Studies at The Markfield Institute of Higher Education, only after getting married of course! The MA application was placed on hold and responsibility took its course, giving me the opportunity to set up a company and prepare for fatherhood.

How young people are oblivious to what lies ahead when it comes to getting married, going into it like its a ’30 day rolling contract’. Addressing the need to revive the sacredness and responsibility pertaining to Marriage (Zawaj) and breakthrough the stigma that surrounds courtship!
