The British Islam Conference returned for its third year with 250 people attending to hear keynotes from Dr Mona Siddiqi and Dr Ziba Mir-Hosseini. Held at the Human Rights Action Centre, Amnesty International UK, London we were proud to have almost 60 speakers talking on a diverse range of subjects.

British Islam Conference 2017
The second British Islam Conference was attended by 200 people, had 57 speakers and was held at the Human Rights Action Centre, Amnesty International UK, London. The keynote speaker was internationally renowned historian of religion and author, Karen Armstrong. The audience enjoyed poetry, storytelling, comedy and musical performances on Saturday evening. The event was sponsored by Twitter, Coventry University, the Centre for Trust, Peace & Social Justice (CTPSR), and the Urban Trust Fund. The event was trending on Twitter, and received good coverage from the BBC, the Huffington Post, and others.

British Islam Conference 2016
The inaugural British Islam Conference brought together 100 people in Coventry to hear keynotes from Dr Amina Wadud, Dr Halima Krausen, and Dr Mike Hardy. A variety of themes were presented by 25 speakers, and the audience enjoyed poetry, storytelling, comedy and musical performances on Saturday evening. The event was sponsored by the Aziz Foundation, Coventry University, and the Centre for Trust, Peace & Social Justice (CTPSR).
